It’s been 34 years since Jamaica made its Winter Olympic debut in bobsled at the 1988 Games in Calgary, an unlikely appearance which was later immortalized in the Disney feature film, “Cool Runnings.”

Though the four man team crashed and received a “Did Not Finish” result, the exploits of Dudley ‘Tal’ Stokes, Michael White, Devon Harris and Chris Stokes were immortalized in the 1993 hit, which remains one of the highest grossing sports comedies.

Now, perhaps more importantly, the team have inadvertently inspired generations of Jamaican winter sports stars.

Now we have four new Jamaican bob sleigh team members who do not look like they have an inch of Jamaican blood in them. According to what one of my friend pointed out the other day. Is it that the real Jamaicans are getting more bigger and pumped up? or Is Jamaica being exploited and captured? Is there are plot from different cultures and secret group of people to remove real Jamaicans from their legacy and replace them with themselves? Normally if you become a citizen of a country, and even if you join a sports team the indigenous group of that country suppose to make up most of the team right? However in this case not one of them look like they have an ounce of Jamaican genes. They look like they are from a different culture and religious group. So why they did not pick three Jamaicans and one foreign person to make the new bob sleigh team? Instead they pick four men who claim to be Jamaican but look as if they do not have no Jamaican genes nor culture in them. Is there a secret group to exploit and remove Jamaican faces from their own legacy that they created? Look at the picture of the four new Jamaican bob sled team members. Are those men real Jamaicans or are they foreign men who became Jamaican? click the link below.
